School Uniform

The Governors request that all children attending Parc y Llan wear the set school uniform.

We are of the opinion, that a high standard of dress is important and uniform also gives the child a sense of belonging and pride in being a part of our school.

No make-up or nail varnish is allowed in school. For safety reasons we ask that children do not wear loose jewellery in school. Watches and other items brought into school are the child’s responsibility and school cannot be held liable for any loss or damage. If your child has pierced ears we request that in the interest of health and safety small flat stud earrings are worn.

Ear studs must be removed for Games, PE and swimming lessons. If ear studs cannot be removed they should be covered by a plaster. Watches may be worn, but must be removed for PE, Games and Dance for safety reasons.

Hair – If your child has long hair, the hair must be tied up at all times in school for hygiene reasons. No extreme haircuts, colours, tramlines are permitted. Teaching staff will advise parents/guardians if a child’s hairstyle is inappropriate.

Please put your child’s name in every article of clothing, footwear and other personal possessions. This is very important in helping us trace lost property. Pupils who bring personal possessions into school at any time, do so at their own risk.

Our school uniform is made up of the following items:

  • Sweatshirt or cardigan - wine

  • Polo shirt - light blue

  • Trousers or skirt - grey

  • Shoes - black or dark coloured

In summer pupils may wear grey shorts or red gingham dresses.

For P.E. lessons all pupils will require:

  • Shorts - plain black

  • T-shirt - white with school logo/plain white

  • Tracksuit - navy

  • Black pumps or sensible coloured trainers

All items of uniform can be purchased from Forrester Sports, both in store or online.
